Every ship comes in through one narrow, fog-choked channel the sailors call the Throat. The Italian boats named the city after it - La Gola - the word for the throat, and for the sin of gluttony. It swallows ships, cargo, men and money, and it's never full.

On the night the markets broke, Don Aurelio Ingordo sat the heads of every old family at one long table on the Gold Coast. Seven courses were served. None of the guests walked out.
By morning, the city had one table - and one man at the head of it.

Common gear is sold at Sal's. Uncommon gear is earned from each district's Fixer, Rare gear drops from its Underboss, and Epic gear only comes from the weekly family raid, the Glutton's Table. Spare copies raise a piece's stars. "I sell Common, and that's all anybody sells." - Sal
