1. The agreement
By creating an account or playing Gluttony, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Code of Conduct. If you don't agree, please don't play. "We" and "us" means the team that runs Gluttony.
2. Who can play
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal - don't share, sell, buy or trade them.
- You can't play if we've previously banned you, unless we've agreed otherwise.
3. Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password and tell us at [email protected]. We will never ask for your password.
Your username is public. We may change or remove a username, family name or family tag that breaks the Code of Conduct.
4. It's a work of fiction
Gluttony is a game about organized crime in an invented 1930s city. The crimes, violence, gambling and characters are fictional. The casino uses in-game cash only: nothing you win or lose there has any real-world value, and nothing can be cashed out.
5. Virtual items and currency
In-game cash, Gold Bars, Markers, gear, parts, consumables, titles and everything else you earn in the game are part of the game. They have no real-world monetary value, can't be exchanged for real money, and aren't your personal property - we give you a personal, limited license to use them while you play.
You can trade them with other players only through the game's own features (the Exchange, the Market and trades). Selling or buying them - or accounts - for real money or anything outside the game isn't allowed.
We may change how the game works, rebalance items and prices, reset seasonal features such as the monthly Guest List, and correct balances or remove items gained through bugs, exploits or rule-breaking.
6. Free to play
Gluttony is free to play and doesn't currently sell anything. If we ever offer paid features, they'll come with their own terms, shown to you before you buy.
7. What you post
You're responsible for what you write in chat, mail, family pages and names. You keep any rights you have in it, and you give us permission to store, display and moderate it as needed to run the game. We may remove anything that breaks these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
8. Playing fair
Follow the Code of Conduct. If you don't, we may warn you, mute you, rename you, remove items or currency, roll back progress, or suspend or ban your account, depending on how serious it is.
9. The service
We work to keep the city running, but we provide Gluttony "as is" and "as available". It may have bugs, go down for maintenance, or change over time. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop running the game - if we do, we'll give notice in the game where we reasonably can.
10. Leaving, or being asked to leave
You can stop playing at any time. To have your account deleted, email [email protected] from the address on the account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. When an account is closed, its virtual items and progress are gone for good.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of virtual items or progress. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that the law says can't be limited.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the Philippines, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the game. Playing after a change means you accept it.
